“How can we visually combine the coffee with the technology?” the client asked me one day. They wanted to redecorate the dining spaces in a friendly manner, without altering the brand.
Issue: The customer activates in a highly technical field, which is visible in its branding and layouts; there are, however, multiple non-technical employees that should feel comfortable in the common areas.
Solution: I came up with a graphical solution that was approved immediately. Starting with the already existing logo explanation (Physical / Digital – see below), I added elements that combine them with food and drink visuals. The layouts do not alter the message or branding and are accessible to both technical and non-technical employees.
We painted the floors in gray, the tables in green and decorated the walls with big prints with funny texts, that matches the branding and complete the design. Theme: COFFEE • TEA • TECHNOLOGY

In addition to the common areas facelift, I proposed a full PTC EXPERIENCE – using AR technology to enhance the office environment. For example including Vuforia ThingMarks in the layouts, in order to offer context-relevant information so that employees or visitors can “play” with AR models or applications (ThingWorx View app).
